TravelSIM Personal Assistant
TravelSIM’s revolutionary new Personal Assistant service provides all your travel information, events & leisure information, business services, medical assistance, emergency help services, as well as a live language translation service in over 77 languages…. all just one phone call away!
If you need to book or pay for a service (such as tickets to a local event), Personal Assistant can securely take payment via credit card over the phone. This process is very secure as your information is undocumented and processed instantaneously, meaning you can receive information, book AND pay for a service all in one phone call.
TravelSIM Personal Assistant service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
Personal Assistant costs $15 NZD to sign-up (deducted from your balance when first calling the Personal Assistant service) and provides six months of unlimited usage. When using the service, you will then only pay the normal rate to make phone calls from the country you are in.

Free Web SMS
Anyone can access the TravelSIM website and send free and unlimited SMS to any TravelSIM number, anywhere in the world. The service is very popular and forms a cost effective way for friends, family and colleagues to keep in touch while overseas. The text service is often utilised by customers to set up times to call one another due to time differences while travelling.
Diversion Service
It is possible to divert calls from your existing mobile service to your TravelSIM service using the TravelSIM Diversion service. A New Zealand (or other country number if needed) landline number is mapped to the users TravelSIM service. The customer may then divert their existing mobile number(s) and/or landline number(s) to this auxiliary number and when someone calls their existing mobile, the TravelSIM service will ring. Customers are charged a $25 set up fee (this fee is currently waived) and $0.29 USD per minute surcharge to receive calls using the diversion service.

0800 Toll Free Number
The toll free service allows work, friends or family back in New Zealand to call a TravelSIM customer at no cost to the caller. Using this service is free from a landline (charges may apply from a mobile) and along with free web SMS offers the most affordable way to keep in touch while overseas. The service is available for people calling out of New Zealand as well as in 9 other countries.
Simply dial 0800 449 302 and follow the prompts.
Please note that this service is free for the person dialling the Toll Free Number and the TravelSIM user will receive a small surcharge of $0.29/minute USD to receive the call.
Voicemail
Voicemail is available with all TravelSIM services. Voicemail is free to deposit for TravelSIM customers. Once a voicemail has been deposited the customer will receive a notification by SMS. To retrieve the voicemail is the equivalent of an outgoing call from the country you are in.
You need to activate voicemail through your customer login and then dial 095 from your TravelSIM to set it up.
Mobile Miles Program
Customers can now earn miles or points with TravelSIM when travelling abroad and making mobile phone calls. TravelSIM customers earn 1 mile for every minute of calls made and received.
To register customers must firstly check if they are a member of one of the below programs. If they are not, they can register for one of them and start earning awards right away. It is free to join the TravelSIM Mobile Miles program but costs may apply for membership to partner rewards programs.
